- As the President of the Pharmacy Council of India from 2003 to 2021, helped transform pharmacy education at the institutional, national, and global levels.
- Actively promoted the “Pharmacy Practice” concept in India by introducing postgraduate programs in “Pharmacy Practice” and Pharm.D. programs, as well as several regulations that brought about a paradigm shift in pharmacy education and profession.
- Instrumental in establishing the university as one of the most respected universities in the country and ranked among the top 400 universities of the world by Times Higher Education.
- Supporting and helping transform pharmacy education and the pharmacy profession in Mauritius.
